  1. Hi Janie! ExPat Mark from WA here. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your site and I miss you on WA. I will be back soon. Being in Memphis, there is zero opera so your site reminds me of home in Ukraine, where there are many famous opera houses. But few as pretty flutists as you.

My site is #1 on Google! Check it out and leave a comment and say hello. . I am getting 150 unique visits per day and the sky is the limit with this niche. Keep playing and I will keep listening. Are you still flying?

Ciao for now, a Birra Moretti La Rossa soon.

  2. What a terrific site, my daughter is learning the flute and this is full of some great suggestions. Have you been playing your flute much during the C19 “lockdown”? What about famous players, what have they been doing? When did the flute first start to be played? Where is the most unusual place people have played the flute? Have you ever participated in one of those events where one person starts playing in public and then another until there are scores of people playing? I would also be fascinated to hear more from you about the history of the flute too. Best Regards, Trevor

    • Hi Trevor! First of all congratulations to your daughter for playing such a beautiful instrument. If she ever has any questions don’t hesitate to ask me. But I don’t think you would, judging by the amount of questions you asked! Fantastic to have such a curious reader. One by one I will answer them. They interest me, too! Thank you for commenting and all the best to you and your family
